The AEVIG Thor, a new take on the classic dresswatch
At 40mm wide the Thor is contemporary sized compared to vintage dresswatches in the 36-38mm range. At 11mm thick, 12.5mm including the box sapphire crystal it will slip easily under a shirtcuff but still stand out as a sharp accesoire for the modern man.
Case design is kept clean and simple to draw attention to details like the piepan shape of the dial or the subtle brushed grey effect. Lightning blue sunburst for added sparkle or stark black for maximum offset of the applied indexes.
Other modern touches include a custom handset with Swiss Luminova for 24/7 visibility in any given situation with a stealth glance.
A classic dresswatch is manual wound. No exceptions here. Operating the movement you’ll find a handsome double fluted crown, tactile and easy to wind. Turn the wrist to view the custom made signed buckle.
A first for AEVIG watches is the display back. The Miyota 8N33 inside the Thor is too beautifull to cover up. Skeletonized to reveal most of the inner workings.
